Newsflash


Jered Bertulis and Karl Karleen are off to the Summer Nationals to be held in London, Ontario. Thanks to those folks who came to wish them well at the bus pickup. They both have been training hard in preparation for the Games. We wish them all the best in London.

There is a bocce tournament coming up in August on Saltspring Island.

Since 1980, Special Olympics BC (SOBC), a registered charitable organization, has provided high quality sports programs and competitions to meet the needs and interests of individuals with intellectual disabilities, enriching lives and celebrating personal acheivement through positive sport experiences.

As a member of Region 6, Vancouver Island, our Oceanside local consists of athletes and volunteers who reside in Nanoose Bay, Parksville, Qualicum Beach, Bowser and the rural areas of Regional District #69.

If you are a fan of inspiration, then you are already a fan of Special Olympics.
